While it might be possible to use the hardware kit for 4m poles on 3m fence-mounted poles, it is not something we have tested or recommend. The 3m fence posts have a 34mm diameter, whereas the 4m posts have an 80mm diameter, indicating a significant size difference. If you choose to proceed with this DIY adaptation, please note that the items would not be eligible for return.
